Chara KANI

Head of the Department of Planning and Monitoring of Medicines Administration in the Medicines Directorate, General Directorate of Organization and Planning of Health Services, E.O.P.Y.Y.

Ms. Chara Kani is the Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Planning and Monitoring at the Medicines Division, General Directorate of E.O.P.Y.Y. (National Organization for Healthcare Services Provision). She also participates as a representative of EOPYY in the Committee for Evaluation and Reimbursement of Medicines for Human Use of the Ministry of Health (HTA and Reimbursement Committee).

She is a graduate of the School of Pharmacy of the University of Athens, holds a PhD from the Medical School of Athens and a master's degree in Clinical Pharmacy from the School of Pharmacy of the University of Athens.

She also participates as an expert in European networks for pricing and reimbursement as well as working groups of the European Commission and the OECD on medicines.
